flathead electric encourages its residential customers to occupy energy efficient homes. a $750 homeowner rebate is payable to northwest energy efficient manufactured (neem) home buyers who site a new electrically heated neem home in their service territory. rebates are payable after the home has been set-up and verified by a flathead electric co-op representative. home buyers will be required to submit a rebate form to flathead electric prior to set-up inspection. additionally, a $150 sales representative incentive is payable to the sales representative who sells an electrically heated neem home that is sited within flathead electrics service territory.

flathead electric offers incentives for its residential customers to increase the energy efficiency of their homes through a variety of equipment rebates. customers who have a pre-approved contractor install a new energy efficient air source heat pump with an hspf of 8.5 and a seer of 14 can receive a $1,000 rebate. geothermal heat pumps are eligible for a $3,000 rebate. rebates are also provided by flathead electric for qualifying energy star appliances and energy efficient water heaters. all rebates are subject to a post-installation inspection performed by flathead electric to ensure proper installation of qualifying equipment.

idaho power is offering a $500.00 sales rebate to customers who purchase a new energy star home and connect that home to an idaho power residential account. in addition, the sales consultant who sells the home will be eligible for a $100 sales bonus. energy star homes are designed to be more energy efficient than standard ones because they have more insulation in the ceiling, walls and floors, better windows and doors, tighter duct systems and specially designed ventilation systems.

intermountain gas company (igc) - gas heating rebate program

the intermountain gas company’s (igc) gas heating rebate program offers customers a $200.00 per unit rebate when they convert to a high efficiency natural gas furnace that replaces a heating system using another energy source. new furnaces must meet a minimum afue efficiency rating of 90%, and the home must have been built at least three years prior to the furnace conversion to qualify for the rebate. visit igc’s program website for more information.
